Thank you so much for the wonderful care and treatment you gave me during my therapy sessions.
Hello to everyone that would read this post. I almost don’t know where to start with my experience. It took me two weeks after my mom was discharged to sit down and write this. I have so much to say and know I can’t say it all in this post so please bear with me. I’ll just start by saying that I had such an enlightening experience concerning nursing home jarga. My mom was admitted to Medilodge of Taylor two months ago after suffering a stroke 4mths prior. I have to say that I was reluctant to send her there after reading some of the reviews and speaking to others about it. My mother’s Physician Dr. Shehnaz Rizvi convinced me to do so. I shared with her my feelings and in turn she expressed how good the rehab was and how my mother could benefit from being there. I still looked at her a lil cross eyed and she asked me did I trust her???? Well, of course, I trust her b/c I believed that she had my mother’s best interest at heart. So I said I did and my mom was admitted. I know this is long but I feel like I need to express how the care that my mother got was indescribable. The nurses; Keely, Heather, Tiffany and James we’re phenomenal, their professionalism was outstanding and I know that it wasn’t favoritism b/c I observed how they treated the other residences and they cared for them accordingly. There were other nurses that I didn’t name b/c I may not have seen or interacted with them. Just to name a few CNA’s that I wish I could have taken home with me were GREAT!!! Their attitudes were so cordial and respectful. Amanda, Kourtney, Crystal, Jasmine, Brandon, and last but not least at all Alexis and again there were others too. Well, I can’t just stop there without mentioning the Administration Staff. Katrice, (Discharge Planner) Kristina(SW) Joanna(Activity Planner) Lori , and sooo many others that I can’t remember their names. They all helped me through a time when I wasn’t equipped to handle this new place that I wasn’t accustomed to. Thankyou Administration So Much. Oh My Goodness, I dare not leave out The Rehab. Department. They are second to none!!!! They work if no one else is. Their consistency in getting their job done is very noticeable. Their attitudes are loving and caring. Thank you Rehab!! You guys Rock! I hope this post will help someone that is unfamiliar and afraid to make a heartfelt decision on allowing their loved one go to Medilogde of Taylor or even some other facility b/c it can be frightening but try to keep an open mind and allow your gut to lead you. Blessings to Medilodge of Taylor
I chose MediLodge of Taylor for my husband, Gary Raymond. The reason I chose this center is that I know the Social Services Director Jennifer; she said she would put her loved ones at MediLodge of Taylor. Team members Jim, Amanda, Alexis, Brandon, Bob, and Wendy… all went out of their ways numerous times to help Gary.
Michelle Kline – Aide – Caring and attentive to my mother’s needs. All therapy staff have been very good with helping.
Clean and quiet in halls and rooms.
All of the staff here have been wonderful.
Give me more ice cream! Medilodge has been very kind and considerate. Facility is clean and comfortable. I love my private room. All my needs are met!
The rehabilitation and therapy department really stood out. The physical and occupational therapy are the best!
I took a tour and was impressed after touring two other rehab facilities. Every person stood out and was outstanding. I never had to follow up on anything. Everyone from housekeeping, dietary, nurses, aides, activities, etc., are helpful. The atmosphere is positive here. Employees are smiling and always asking if there is anything we need. Roni and Toni in the administration were accommodating and approachable.
The CNA’s work really hard to make sure I have a good day. PT works me really hard every day with love. An R.N. named Kylie is very good with me and Jataya Fox makes sure I smile every day!
This facility is clean with very nice people working here that are friendly and so polite. All of the team here were superior; the cleaning staff, nurses, aids, PH, and OT. I couldn’t pick just one standout team. I love how friendly yet professional everyone is here.
My family did a tour and it was clean and bright and the staff was friendly. The nursing and therapy department really stood out. The first time I’ve ever been in a place like this and everything is excellent! My family gets to come whenever they want, no matter how many of them and I love being by the window here.
I had major back surgery and chose MediLodge of Taylor to help me recover. There was an aide named Chelsea Shelton who’s attitude and service was exceptional. She truly made a bad time pleasant and I felt well cared for. The effort at MediLodge is terrific. They offer so many activities and around the clock healthy care. They are very professional and completely at your service.
I chose MediLodge of Taylor for my loved one. My mom was a resident here in the past for rehab and the staff was very caring. The nursing staff and the therapy department both really stood out.
I chose MediLodge of Taylor after my sister did a tour. The facility was very clean and it was a very friendly environment. The speech therapy really helped. Sherry, Julie, and Collette were all really great. The staff was really nice and kind.
I choose MediLodge of Taylor for a loved on due to the outstanding service. Your staff members are an asset to MediLodge of Taylor.
I chose MediLodge of Taylor for a loved one after a friend referred me. The Admissions Director, Roni Butler, gave me a tour of the facility and answered all of my concerns regarding my mom’s care. The facility itself is clean and without odors. The staff is friendly. My mother was well cared for. She received her medication at the usual times.
My husband was here for 4 1/2 years and I came here because I knew how good you all were. It has been wonderful and I enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was so good to me. I can now raise my arm, that was broken, all the way up over my head. I couldn’t do that when I got here.
We the family of Leroy. J would like to thank all the Nursing and C.N.A. staff that took care of him. The care that your staff gave to our dear family member was outstanding. May God truly bless each one of you for the kindness and the care you gave him.
A Note to the Kitchen Staff:
I have been here for two weeks and every meal that I have had has been the BEST EVER! You guys are the BEST EVER!
To the Staff of MediLodge:
Just a little Valentine’s treat for you all and a great big thanks of appreciation for the great care you give my father Jim M! Happy Valentines Day! (This was accompanied by wonderful Valentine Treats.)
We can not thank you all enough for the love and care you extended to my Grandmother, Ruth K. Thank you from the Bottom of my heart for your hard work, loving efforts, patience, and endurance. May each and every one of you be blessed this year!
I am so grateful for the care and attention my mother received. I highly recommend MediLodge of Taylor to everyone.
To the staff at Medilodge
My Grandfather, Raymond W Kramer, was under Hospice Care at your facility for just a few days in November of this year. My family and I were very pleased and impressed with your facility and the care he received. The rooms and entire facility was clean, inviting and having a pleasant aroma. The bed, furniture, wheelchairs and all the equipment was clean, operational and up to date. Most importantly we were impressed with kind, compassionate and positive care/interaction my grandfather received as a patient and we received as visitors. Personally, I would like to acknowledge CNA Charles Penny. His care and compassion was impressive and this fact put me and hospice nurses (names I cannot recall unfortunately) involved in his care who also provided excellent care and deserve recognition, and so we thank you! The care we received was most comforting during the final days/hours we shared with our grandfather before he went to be with the Lord. On behalf of the entire Kramer Family, We say thank you and may God bless each of you!
I would like to express my gratitude for the staff of MediLodge of Taylor. I have been extremely satisfied with the care that my husband has received. I am so happy that we chose MediLodge of Taylor.
When my husband first went into MediLodge of Taylor he was in a wheelchair and was out of it. They started taking his medications away slowly, one at a time and substituting others. Now he eats by himself, toilets himself, showers and shaves himself. He is more aware of his surroundings. We are so grateful to the medical staff for that.
I just wanted to thank you with the care of Joseph M. Thank you for your good judgment, kind words, and for all of your help. I have a profound respect for your profession.
“I recommend MediLodge of Taylor to everyone I know for therapy. I had a double knee replacement and toured four facilities before choosing MediLodge, specifically for their therapy department. I met all of my therapy goals and while I was on a recent cruise, I was able to wear high-heeled shoes. Thank you, MediLodge!”
Thanks to all your staff for the wonderful care I received. P.S. Stay off the ladder. (Lodger had fallen off a ladder at home resulting in an injury.)
